As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there are no direct international train services to Norway, and train travel to Norway usually involves connecting services from neighbouring countries. However, train travel within Norway is well-developed, and you can reach Bergen from major cities within the country.

  2. From Denmark: Travelers can take a train from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Oslo. From Oslo, you can then continue to Bergen by train.
  3. From Germany: There are train services from Germany to Oslo, such as the service from Hamburg to Oslo. Again, from Oslo, you can proceed to Bergen by train.

The Bergen Line (Bergensbanen) is the railway line that connects Oslo and Bergen, offering breathtaking views of the Norwegian landscapes. The train journey takes about 7 hours and is considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world.
